Orchard Mile Mentioned as Solution for Brands to De-Risk Retail

Orchard Mile, an online marketplace that sells high end fashion brands, is innovating on traditional retail models. While Orchard Mile has already opened guideshops on a seasonal basis in New York and Martha’s Vineyard, its next step is to put shops in the lobbies of a luxury hotel chain (name to be announced shortly)where consumers can see the products in an environment in which they are relaxed, on vacation and ready to spend.
As the founder of Orchard Mile (Jennie Baik) says with respect to the cost of online marketing, “You don’t want to get them [consumers] on Google, you want to get them where they are.”
